Buildots is an AI-powered construction technology company that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to monitor construction projects, analyze video footage from helmet-mounted cameras, and compare data with project plans and schedules. The platform automates progress tracking, predicts delays, and offers analytics to improve site performance and decision-making for construction teams.

Buildots was founded in 2018 in Tel Aviv, Israel by Roy Danon, Aviv Leibovici, and Yakir Sundry. All three co-founders graduated from 'Talpiot', the creative engine of the Israeli Defense Forces and its most prestigious unit, bringing advanced technical expertise to the construction industry. Roy Danon serves as CEO, Aviv Leibovici as Chief Product and Customer Officer, and Yakir Sudry as Chief Technology Officer.

The company's core technology collects project data by analyzing footage from 360-degree cameras attached to construction managers' hard hats. Information is processed by internally developed AI models trained on millions of construction-related data points. The platform compares actual progress against BIM models and project schedules, automatically tracking work completion and identifying delays before they impact timelines.

Buildots has raised significant capital since its founding. In 2020, the company secured $16 million ($3 million seed and $13 million Series A) led by TLV Partners with participation from Innogy Ventures, Tidhar Construction Group, and notable individual investors including Ziv Aviram (co-founder of Mobileye & OrCam). Intel Capital led a $15 million investment round, and in May 2025, Buildots raised $45 million in Series D funding led by Qumra Capital, bringing total funding to $166 million. The Series D valued the company at approximately $300 million.

Buildots has been adopted by approximately 50 construction companies and employs over 230 people across 3 continents (primarily 150 in Tel Aviv with the remainder in Europe and North America). Major customers include The Turner Corporation, STO Building Group, JE Dunn Construction, Samet Corporation, Mortenson, Ledcor, Pomerleau, Sir Robert McAlpine, Wates, Kier, Multiplex, IHP, VINCI Construction, NCC, Hochtief, GCC, and Bouygues Construction. Intel is using the software to support its fab network expansion efforts. The company is projecting triple-digit revenue growth for another year and is on track to quadruple its North American presence in 2025.
