Verizon Fios is one of America's largest and most established fiber-optic internet, TV, and phone service providers, delivering ultra-fast broadband to over 15 million homes and businesses across nine northeastern states and Washington D.C. With over 12.3 million internet subscribers (as of Q4 2024) including 9 million Fios customers, Verizon is the second-largest fiber provider in the United States.

Fios continues aggressive expansion with ambitious plans to reach 35-40 million homes following the Frontier acquisition, targeting 650,000 new homes annually over the next four years. Recent deployments in Rhode Island, Virginia, and Delaware demonstrate Verizon's commitment to extending fiber access to underserved communities through partnerships leveraging American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and BEAD program funding.
