Company Overview
Revyl is an AI-native mobile testing platform founded in 2024 by Anam Hira and Landseer Enga, two Canadian entrepreneurs who met at the University of British Columbia. The company emerged from Anam's work at Uber, where she built DragonCrawl, an LLM-based mobile testing framework that saved $25 million in four months by detecting 11 critical incidents before they reached production.
Revyl uses resilient end-to-end tests connected to telemetry traces to help companies catch and triage bugs before they reach production across Web, iOS, and Android platforms. Unlike traditional testing tools that rely on brittle, time-consuming scripts, Revyl's AI agents learn a semantic understanding of applications and execute tests similar to human testers. The platform accelerates the bug triaging process by pinpointing user interface or microservices failures while minimizing test maintenance efforts.
Backed by Y Combinator (Fall 2024 cohort), Panache Ventures, and Feld Ventures, Revyl has raised $1.6 million in funding to transform how companies approach mobile testing and quality assurance. The company's innovative approach addresses the fundamental challenge that mobile apps are increasingly complex while traditional testing methods remain fragile and expensive to maintain. With Revyl, development teams can create testing guidelines in natural language, allowing AI to handle the complexity of test execution and maintenance.
