Albedo is a space company founded in 2020 by Topher Haddad, Ayjay Lasater, and Winston Tri, pioneering the commercialization of Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) to capture 10cm visible and 2m thermal satellite imagery at a fraction of historical costs. The YC W21 company launched Clarity-1 satellite in March 2025 and pivoted in October 2025 to focus on manufacturing VLEO buses for other operators.
